Three SI athletes make history by winning CCS Track crowns
Posted 05/26/2018 07:46AM

At the CCS meet Friday, Alex Enos '18 accomplished 23' 11.5" in the Long Jump, Megan Ronan '21 did 19' 3.5" in the Long Jump, and Delaney Peranich '18 turned in 5'9" in the High Jump. This is the first time in SI track and field history that the school has had three CCS Champions in one year. It's also the first time in CCS history that a girl and a boy from the same school have won first place in the same event. Pictured below is Delaney. Only one girl in SI history has jumped higher than she has: Jenna Grimaldi, who cleared 6' 0" in 2001.
