Spring sports update for CCS play

Congratulations to the Wildcat Baseball Team and their WCAL quarterfinal win over SHC @ USF on Tuesday. Dom Tognotti '17, threw a complete game, giving up only four hits over seven innings. The 'Cats take on Valley Christian in the semifinals today at Santa Clara University @ 4 p.m.

The Wildcat Lacrosse Team takes on Serra today on JB Murphy Field at 3:30 p.m. This is a WCAL quarterfinal game. The winner moves onto the championship game this Friday.

The Wildcat Tennis Team continues CCS play today with a semifinal match against Monta Vista at the Bay Club in Los Gatos at 1:30 p.m.

In other playoff news, the Wildcat Golf Team played in the CCS competition on Tuesday at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch. The team score was 395, good enough for a 7th place team finish; however, the team does not advance to the CCS semifinals. The top scorers for SI were Michael Cenni and Kyle Wilkinson, both with a score of a 77.

The Wildcat Softball Team lost its WCAL Qquarterfinal game 1–0 and now waits for the CCS playoffs which will begin next week.

In CCS first round play last night, the Wildcat Volleyball Team lost a very close match to Saratoga 3–1 (28–30, 25–12, 24–26, 24–26).
