Our Faculty

They support the Jesuit philosophy of cura personalis and cura communis, caring for the individual and maintaining positive, respectful relationships with all members of the community. They also support Jesuit commitment to a faith that does justice.

They meet the needs of students of differing backgrounds and abilities and encouraging students to be risk-takers who learn from their mistakes. They also model and encourage an enthusiastic desire for lifelong learning.

They are also well prepared and engage in ongoing professional development. Nearly 100 hold masters degrees, and another five have earned their doctoral degrees.

Born in Westlake - Daly City - attended Our Lady of Mercy then graduated from St. Ignatius. Studied theatre at San Francisco State University and went on to have a professional career as an actor/ singer /dancer and director. Ted has been at SI sine 2000. Recently he received a BS and then a Master’s of Science in Organizational Development from USF. Lives in Pleasant Hill with wife and assistance dog and is the proud father of two SI graduates.
