Our Faculty

They support the Jesuit philosophy of cura personalis and cura communis, caring for the individual and maintaining positive, respectful relationships with all members of the community. They also support Jesuit commitment to a faith that does justice.

They meet the needs of students of differing backgrounds and abilities and encouraging students to be risk-takers who learn from their mistakes. They also model and encourage an enthusiastic desire for lifelong learning.

They are also well prepared and engage in ongoing professional development. Nearly 100 hold masters degrees, and another five have earned their doctoral degrees.

Other Information

Originally from Pueblo, Colorado, I left after high school to attend Creighton University. I went on to join the Wisconsin Province of the Society of Jesus. After leaving the order I taught Religion and worked in Campus Ministry at the high school level in the Bay Area. Currently I am in my 4th year at S.I. and work in both Campus Ministry and Community Service as well as coach swimming.
