St. Ignatius

The SI Parent Experience

Our parents are just as busy as our students. Granted, they don't have to do homework, but they are involved in nearly every aspect of campus life.

We encourage all moms to join the Ignatian Guild and all dads to join the Fathers' Club.

(Current parents, go to the Parent Landing page by clicking at the link on the top of this page. There you will find everything you need to join these clubs and learn about some great events.)

If you're the parent of a child with roots to an Asian country, we also invite you to join SIPAC -- the parent group that supports the Asian Students Coalition. Please make this an entry point for you also to join the Ignatian Guild or the Fathers' Club.

Similarly, if you're the parent of a child with Latino or African-American roots, please consider joining the African American and Latino Parents Association (AALPA), which supports students in the Association of African American Students (AAAS) and the Association of Latin American Students (ALAS).

If you are interested in learning about Ignatian Spirituality or if you would like support in your spiritual development, our Office of Adult Spirituality offers programs specifically for SI parents.

Grandparents now have their own club, and we invite them to come to SI on Grandparents' Day and throughout the year for special events.

Come to the Fathers' Club Auction or the Ignatian Guild Fashion Show and you'll see hundreds of parents at each event volunteering their time and having a lot of fun. We invite you to explore even more ways to become a part of the SI family!
