Scholarship Endowment

Providing access to a Jesuit education to families across the economic spectrum has been a core mission of Jesuit schools worldwide since Ignatius of Loyola opened the first school in Messina, Italy, in 1548.

A strong SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND is vital to the future financial health of St. Ignatius College Preparatory, as it provides a perpetual stream of revenue for financial assistance. We appreciate all gifts, big and small. The goal is to grow the Scholarship Endowment Fund so that it alone can provide financial assistance needed by SI families, without reliance on annual fundraising.

If you would like to establish your own named scholarship (e.g., The Smith Family Scholarship), you can do so with a gift of any amount. Once the fund reaches $25,000, it is partially endowed, meaning that a student is assigned to that particular scholarship. At $100,000, the scholarship is perpetually endowed, meaning it will exist in perpetuity.
