St. Ignatius

Rise and Shine

Dear SI Alumni and Friends of SI,

On Saturday June 3, 2023 we will gather at the Red and Blue Celebration with live music, food, beverages and activities for young ones at the Gordon Practice Field on campus. Last year we had over 400 people attend and we think this year is going to be bigger and better.

This year we are including everyone at St. Ignatius: alumni, parents, faculty, family and friends. Our special honoree Br. Douglas Draper will be attending as we thank him for his 57 years of service to the St. Ignatius community, you will not want to miss this event.

The day starts off with a Stanyan Street Luncheon (sorry, the luncheon is only for those who attended 222 Stanyan and their guests) and then the Red and Blue Celebration. Get your tickets now, if you want to be on the Br. Draper Honorary Host committee please consider a sponsorship to help underwrite the big celebration.

Thanks for making ours the greatest alumni association in the country.

We Are - - SI!

GO CATS!

Justice Peter Siggins ’73 to Receive the Christ the King Award

On Wednesday, May 18, 2022 the SI Alumni Board voted to award Justice Peter Siggins '73 the highest honor it bestows upon an alum of St. Ignatius College Preparatory, the Christ the King Award.

The Christ the King Award honors SI alumni "who have distinguished themselves in their professions, who have shown a commitment to the SI community and who best exemplify the ideal of service to God and fellow man."

The Board chose Justice Siggins for this award because of a combination of his professional accomplishments as a former California Appellate Court Justice and pro-bono work in the Jesuit community for various schools including St. Ignatius College Preparatory.
