Financial Assistance Program Information

Welcome to the Financial Assistance Process at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. It is our hope that all qualified students have the opportunity to attend SI.

  • Financial assistance is granted on the basis of demonstrated financial need and the financial assistance resources available.
  • Financial assistance is applied for and awarded yearly so that it can be amended if a family's financial situation changes.
  • Every family who feels that they might qualify for assistance is encouraged to apply.
  • Some students receiving financial assistance receive other discounts through the Arrupe Assistance Program.

Financial Assistance Information Session (English, for new students)
If you believe that you may qualify for financial assistance, and would like more information about the application process, please join us next Wednesday, December 15, at 7:00 pm in English, and Thursday, December 16, at 7:00 pm in Spanish. We will look at a general overview of the financial assistance program, the application on the TADs platform, and answer specific questions you might have. You might want to take a look at our Financial Assistance Program web page prior to the session to see if you do have any specific questions.

This on-line information session is open to all applicants to SI. Please register by sending an email to Sr. Sharon Brannen, sbrannen@siprep.org, and request the Zoom code.

Financial Assistance Information Day

Drop-in workshop that offers one on one support in starting or completing the Financial Assistance Application process.

(Monday) 
Financial Assistance Application is due for new applicants to SI - including those who already have siblings attending SI. The following information will need to be uploaded to your TADS application:
  • Completed Federal Tax Returns for 2020 (personal and business)
  • 2020 W-2's from each household member
  • 2021 W-2’s from each household member
  • January 2022 pay stubs for each household member
  • Completed Federal Tax Returns for 2021 (personal and business) uploaded by April 31, 2021
Incomplete or late applications will not be reviewed.
March 7, 2022
(Monday) 

Financial Assistance Application is due for returning SI applicants who do NOT have a sibling applying to SI for the first time. See above for the required information.

Every Financial Assistance Scholarship recipient is required to apply annually.  There are no exceptions.

Incomplete or late applications will not be reviewed.
March 18, 2022
(Friday) 
Freshman Admissions Notification
If the financial assistance applications are received by January 31, your financial assistance notification will be sent at the same time as the admissions notification. If the financial assistance application is incomplete or received after the deadline, the school will not be able to make a financial assistance determination at that time.
May 9, 2022
(Monday) 
Returning Students will receive their financial assistance notification for the 2022-2023 academic year.

 

NOTE: Financial Assistance will not be credited to the student’s account until the completed 2021 Federal Tax returns (personal and business) are filed and uploaded to the TADS online application and current tuition and school financial obligations are met.
