There are a variety of ways to prepare for the standardized tests. Free or inexpensive options include online prep courses such as Prep Me on Family Connection or test prep books, while test prep courses or tutors are more costly. The method of test prep depends on a student’s learning style and needs, and what is best for one student may not be best for another. Whichever method a student decides to pursue, all obligations including academic, co-curricular and personal commitments should be considered. It is essential to ensure that all students seek balance between the testing process, academics, and other activities.
