Family Connection

Family Connection / Naviance Student, created by Naviance, is a web based program that provides a foundation for our comprehensive counseling program at each grade level.The program provides College Search, Learning Style Inventory, Personality Type Assessment, High School Course Scheduling, Standardized Test Practice, Career Exploration, Resume Builder and various College Search and Application features. Family Connection provides a comprehensive tool for meaningful communication between students, parents and the SI counselor.

As each student progresses through high school, information such as unweighted GPA and standardized test scores are included on the student’s account. The only information accessible to  individual students and parents is their personal data. Otherwise, individual student information is kept confidential.

Please Note: Test scores are received by St. Ignatius College Preparatory from both The College Board and ACT on disk which is then uploaded into Naviance. Students must put our school code (CEEB Code) 053-010 on their test registration or scores will not be added as they will not have been received.

When you visit the site for the first time, please enter your personal registration code in the New User box and follow the on-screen instructions to create your own account. If you do not have your personal registration code, please contact the Counseling Department.

Note: One parent email address per registration code. We are asking students and parents to use their email address as their user name. Students will receive a unique registration code during their first X-Period meeting in October.
