Our Mission

We empower learners. To this end, we teach research and informational literacy, guide access to ideas and resources, and encourage critical thinking. The library faculty and physical environment nurture reading for pleasure and purpose, as well as collaborative and individual study and practice. We respond to sociocultural needs, innovate in response to and ahead of our changing culture, and provide excellent service to the entire St. Ignatius community.

Get Involved

Parents: Are you interested in volunteering once a month during lunch periods? Or, perhaps you would like to work on special projects, like creating beautiful library displays? Contact Cara Brancoli at cbrancoli@siprep.org, or fill out our online form.

Students: Library TAs help keep the library running. They shelve books, design library displays, hang posters, help with library events. In exchange, they receive a nice grade on Powerschool and a letter of recommendation for future employment. It's a fun way to directly serve the school community. If interested, contact Ms. Wenger: cwenger@siprep.org
