DO YOU WANT TO BE A STUDENT TRAINER IN THE TRAINING ROOM?
Student Trainers are students that help in the Training Room and get assigned their own Sport Team for the season. They attend all games, home and away, and usually travel with the team.
A Student Trainer can earn a Block for helping with a team and can also fulfill the Freshman Requirement as per requirements.
If you are interested in being a Student Trainer, see Jason in the Training Room for more details.
Marla Bottner teaches PE 615 which is an Introduction to Sports Medicine. Students can learn and get a better understanding of Sports Medicine, become CPR and First Aid certified, and learn how to tape an ankle. Students in this class also will get introduced to the Training Room and possibly become Student Trainers for one of our teams here at St. Ignatius. You can also find the PE 615 course description here.
