The Student Experience

(for 8th grade students)

Fall 2020

All Admissions events will be virtual for the Fall 2020 semester.  All high schools in the San Francisco Archdiocese will be hosting virtual events rather than hosting visitors on their campuses.  The health and safety of our visitors, their families and the SI community is our priority.

We have some fun and exciting virtual events planned for you!

The Student Experience is for the eighth grade student who is interested in the possibility of attending SI for high school and would like to learn more about the academic environment at SI.  This will be a virtual visit (via Zoom) hosted by an SI Admissions representative who will guide you through the experience and give you application tips.  You will be sent a link to Zoom closer to your reserved visit date.
Parents of eighth grade students:  Don't miss our Parent Experience where you will have the opportunity to hear from administrators and faculty about the difference an SI education can make!

The Student Experience Information

Please make sure you have a reservation for The Student Experience and have received a confirmation email, so we are prepared to give you a virtual visit at SI!

• The Zoom link will be emailed to you 24 hours in advance of your reserved date and time for The Student Experience.  The email will include any pertinent Zoom details to make your virtual visit enjoyable and fun!

• For the eighth grade student ...   The SI Student Experience aims to give the student a feel for the academic environment at SI.  It may also highlight how the SI student can take academic risks that lead to growth in a supportive and safe environment.  The objective is for the student to have a broad view of the overall academic experience.

The Student Experience is an optional program and has no bearing on the admissions decision.

If you need assistance, please contact the SI Admissions Office.

What Our Parents and Students Say ...

"During shelter in place, SI moved forward with digital learning without a glitch!  While it's still uncertain what will happen in the fall of 2020, it is a relief to know that [our child] will be in good hands with SI no matter the method of learning."
- SI Parent, July 2020
