class of 2030 applications Available Sept. 3
Applications for the SI Class of 2030 will be available on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 12pm noon. The Application deadline is Friday, November 14, 2025 by Midnight. The Application fee is $100 and non-refundable. Applicants to the SI Class of 2030 must also take the Entrance Exam (HSPT) and submit an Admissions Video. Those are required for all applicants.

Requirements for 9th Grade Applicants:
- The HSPT Entrance Exam is required for all applicants.
- The Admissions Video is required of all applicants.
- The SI Admissions Office will request grades directly from your school.
- The SI Admissions Office will request the confidential recommendation from your school.
- You may download the optional Confidential Clergy Recommendation Form here.
- The SI Admissions Office does not accept additional recommendations.

Our goal is to make St. Ignatius affordable for every family and it is our hope that all qualified students have the opportunity to attend SI.
Admissions Criteria
In general, an 8th grade applicant should have the following qualifications:
- Be progressing in academic subjects consistent with ability.
- Receive a favorable recommendation from the principal, teacher or counselor at the school they currently attend. (Note: This recommendation will be solicited by the Admissions Office.)
- Perform well above grade level on standardized tests taken in the 7th and 8th grade at their current school.
- Perform well enough on the Entrance Exam (HSPT) to indicate that they are capable of achievement at a rigorous college preparatory school.
- Families should be committed to the student's active participation in religious activities of the SI community. This includes a genuine interest in liturgies, retreats, and community service.
- Families should be committed to the student's active participation in co-curricular activities of the SI community. This includes a genuine interest in activities outside of the classroom including clubs, athletics, performing arts, etc.
- Students should have a strong desire to be part of the SI community.
Transfer and International Students
Information about applying as a Transfer student can be found on our Transfer Applicants page. Transfer applicants can only apply for 10th and 11th grade. We do not accept students mid-year. SI accepts transfer students as space becomes available.
We do not accept students directly from outside the United States. Applicants must spend a minimum of one year studying at a school within the United States immediately prior to applying to SI.
