Chapter Four: What are your talents/passions?
I feel as if not many things are really important to me, material things anyways. I find relationships important, whether it’s a family member or a close friend, I value peoples’ opinions. Growing up, I was always told by my mom, “You are a reflection of me, me as a person and me as a parent. So, don’t go out there and make yourself and me look like a fool.” I guess that’s why I care about my image so much and try hard not to disappoint my mom or make her look bad.

I find happiness in being outside, spending time with my friends and family, and listening to music. I love being outdoors because I feel calmed and I don't feel trapped. I feel like I can breathe and move, but sometimes it’s not as much fun by myself.  This is why I also love hanging out with friends because most of the time we’re laughing and joking around. I feel, even if it's just for a second, happy and weightless and like I can relax. Finally, I believe music is one of the purest forms of self expression. I think this because people often speak of their stories and hardships, and the listener can relate to them. I use music as a form of escape, escaping my thoughts or the things around me. I can just take a break and enjoy myself for a couple of minutes.

Chapter Six: Who do you want to be?
I currently don’t have an idea of what or who I want to be in the future. I do know that I need to get better at organization and time management. I really hope that SI can help me better organize myself and find what I might want to do in the future. I have a feeling that SI will be a really positive step in my life. I guess my biggest goal as of now is to graduate high school and get into my college of choice. I feel as if I’m the type of person who lives day by day. No matter what happens, I know I have people there for me and I know I can get through it with their support.
