My talents/passions are public speaking and sports. I really enjoy public speaking and I even spoke as a 6th grader in front of SI once at a prayer service with my friend. I’m not really afraid to express my opinion when I feel it is needed and I’ll always make sure someone is listening. This also comes with the gift of being naturally funny and able to help people, both new or old friends included, and make them feel comfortable when they’re down. I am also very passionate about sports. However, I haven’t really committed to focusing on one specific sport. I just play instead of practicing a ton. In high school, I want to become more invested in sports and practice more so I can commit to one or even two sports. I also want to try out new sports that I couldn’t do this year because our middle school doesn’t have them.

Honestly, I have no idea who I want to be right now and I most likely will not know tomorrow either, but I do still need and have a lot of time to grow. I know that I want to be someone who graduates high school and college with high marks. I want to get into an Ivy League college and I want to make my family proud. I also want to have a stable job when I am older while I am figuring out what I want to be as a profession. But before I think about this, I have to finish high school and to do that, I have some things I want to do. First, I want to graduate with high marks. I know SI will be able to shape me for college and reach that level of intellect. I also want to play sports. I want to feel comfortable with my athletic ability and try as many sports out as I can so I can know which ones I want to play in college. Lastly, I think I need to grow more as a person to mature. For example, I want to think more about others than myself and help others strive like I do.
