SI Jesuits are now the official chaplains for the San Francisco Fire Department. SI President Edward A. Reese, S.J. and John Mitchell, S.J. ’58, the superior of SI's Jesuit community, had been offering chaplain services to the SFFD since the fall of 2020, but pandemic measures prevented them from having this formal ceremony, which finally happened on April 12.

Eddy Dudum ’23 opened a new window on his laptop and displayed a series of numbers listed in columns alongside St. Ignatius Women's Varsity Basketball players' names. As founder of SI's Sports Analytics Club, this is the heart of the work he does on behalf of the team.
A delegation of 10 SI students with two members of our faculty and staff attended the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 6–8. There, they networked, prayed and attended breakout sessions alongside approximately 1,500 students and adults from across the Ignatian and Catholic social justice network.
