Welcome to St. Ignatius Summer Programs 2010

Dear Parents, Students & Campers,
Welcome to St. Ignatius Summer Programs 2010! We are happy to present you with a wide variety of classes and camps for you to select. We have worked hard to provide interesting classes and fun camps for everyone and we are looking forward to seeing you this summer!

• For students going in to the 9th grade in fall 2010, we have prepared a high school prep curriculum that will help to prepare you for your first year in secondary school. All students will take a math class, English for Success and Speech; courses that provide practice and enrichment in important skills necessary for academic success in high school.

• We have a combined program for students entering the 7th or 8th grades in fall 2010. All students will take three classes that you can select from a large assortment of course offerings.

• There are sports camps for every interest including two new sports camps. Improve your existing skills or try out a new sport. In addition, we are offering several new afternoon camps ranging from Dramatic Arts to French Immersion to Competitive Speech Performance Camp. All of the camps can be combined with our academic programs or taken separately.

Please read the registration procedures, payment and refund policies before you register.
We recommend that you first print out a copy of the Registration Form so that you can have it handy as you read through the summer academic, sports camp and non-sports camp schedules. Please note that July 5 is a school and camp holiday.

Registration Procedures
Payment & Refund Policies

Please read prior to registering

Registration:
1. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Complete the registration form and mail it, deliver it or fax it with payment in full. Address and fax numbers are provided below and on the registration form. On the weekends, registrations can be dropped into the St. Ignatius mail drop box at the entrance to McGucken Hall which is located directly to the right of the chapel.
3. Registrations that are received without payment in full cannot be processed and will be returned to sender.
4. School registrations are accepted up to Monday, June 14 or until a program (not a specific class) is full.
5. Registration for all camps or workshops are accepted up to the Friday before a camp begins or until a camp is full. Full camps will be indicated as such on our website and registration form.
6. If a program is full, registration forms will be returned to the address listed on the form.
7. There are no discounts for registering for multiple programs except where stated on the registration form (Morning Camp and Training for the High School Athlete only). Fees are not pro-rated due to vacations or absences of any kind.
8. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate requests to place friends or siblings into the same classes or requests for specific teachers.

9. Completed registrations cannot be transferred to a different individual.
10. By registering for any program or camp, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the payment and refund policies.
11. About 2-3 weeks after we receive your registration form, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your registration form and payment. All registrants will also receive an information/confirmation letter by regular mail sometime in May. Thank you for your patience!

Refund Policy: Academic Programs
1. If an Academic Program (not a specific class) is full and SI is unable to accommodate a student, then a full refund will be returned.

2. The last day to request a withdrawal from any Academic Program is Friday, June 4. After that date there is no refund.

3. A cancellation fee will apply to any withdrawal requested by Friday, June 4.
4. If a student withdraws his/her registration for any Academic Program by Friday, June 4, a refund will be issued minus a $150 cancellation fee.
5. Once your registration form is received, all refund policies apply.
6. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to summerprograms@siprep.org and must be received by our office by 5 pm on Friday, June 4.
7. All refunds will be returned in the same way in which they were paid. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, but no later than July 30, 2010.

Refund Policies: All sports camps and non-sports camps and workshops:
1. If a camp is full and SI is unable to schedule a camper into another camp, a full refund will be returned.
2. The last day to request a withdrawal from any camp or workshop is Friday, June 4. After that date there is no refund. Please note that this a change from previous years.
3. A cancellation fee will apply to any withdrawal requested by Friday, June 4.
4. If a student withdraws his/her registration for any camp by Friday, June 4, a refund will be issued minus a
• $50 cancellation fee for each three-hour or two-hour per day one-week sports camp or a
• $100 cancellation fee each for Cat Camp, Crew Camp, Golf Camp, Dramatic Arts Camp, Musical Theatre Camp, Art Camps, Instrumental Music Camp, French Immersion Camp, Competitive Speech Camp, HSPT Workshop and Training for the HS Athlete.
5. Once your registration form is received, all refund policies apply.
6. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to summerprograms@siprep.org and must be received by our office by 5 pm on Friday, June 4.
7. All refunds will be returned in the same way in which they were paid. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, but no later than July 30, 2010.

Financial Aid:
Limited financial aid is available. Please email summerprograms@siprep.org to request an application form.
