Research hint: develop a list of search terms and use the Advanced Search feature in databases to search for your person by subject combined with one of your search terms.

Great Lives from History Online Database - Historical and current biographies

Modern History Online - Covers the people, places, and events in the broad expanse of history from mid-15th century to the present.

World History in Context - History database covering all time periods

SIRS (Social Issues) - Book, periodical and primary sources

Ebsco - General database for all research

Historical Newspapers - Newspapers back to 1860's

Times Topics - Each topic page collects all the news, reference and archival information, photos, graphics, audio and video files published on topics ranging from A M Castle & Company to Zyuganov, Gennadi A. This archive of New York Times articles is available without charge on articles going back to 1981.

Destiny Book Catalog

Use the catalog to find books.  Look in the index or table of contents to find information about your subject that may relate to your topic.
