They support the Jesuit philosophy of cura personalis and cura communis, caring for the individual and maintaining positive, respectful relationships with all members of the community. They also support Jesuit commitment to a faith that does justice.

They meet the needs of students of differing backgrounds and abilities and encouraging students to be risk-takers who learn from their mistakes. They also model and encourage an enthusiastic desire for lifelong learning.

They are also well prepared and engage in ongoing professional development. Nearly 100 hold masters degrees, and another five have earned their doctoral degrees.

Mr. Ryan Dilag graduated from Santa Clara University (SCU) in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and with honors in Religious Studies. He was immediately accepted into the Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries at SCU with a major scholarship. He graduated with his Master's Degree with concentrations in Spirituality and Pastoral Counseling in 2014.

In the span of fifteen years, Mr. Dilag has ministered to youth and young adults in various parishes and schools throughout the Archdiocese of San Francisco during retreats, workshops, rallies, recollections, prayer services, Masses, and youth/prayer group meetings. He has also taught in the classroom as a Confirmation instructor in several schools and parishes, including as a freshmen Religious Studies instructor at Notre Dame High School in Belmont.

Mr. Dilag has been happily married to his beautiful wife, Trina, since 2013. He and his wife live in San Francisco with their two wonderful children, Emmanuel Ryan and Eve. During his leisure time, he enjoys playing the piano, singing, liturgical ministry, watching mixed martial arts, professional wrestling, football, and movies, and going on adventures with his family.
