Joseph Harrison Aukai Pa'alua Passed away unexpectedly on April 19 in Morgan Hill, CA. Survived by his loving girlfriend of 16 years, Bobbie Smith; son of the late William and Ruth Pa'alua; father of Tim Pa'alua, Kevin Pa'alua (Andrea), Stacy Pa'alua Sullivan (Bryan) and Alianne Mahlstedt; grandfather of Malia, Antonio, Lani, Riley, Cassidy, EJ and Kailee; brother of Ruth Beck, Kathleen Campana and the late William Pa'alua; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Born in Honolulu, HI, on April 22, 1947. Attended St. Anthony's Grammar School in Hawaii, graduated from Mission Dolores Grammar School and St. Ignatius High School in San Francisco. Worked his entire career in the electrical industry, the last several years with Redwood City Electric as a senior purchasing agent. He loved his family and friends. A Vigil Rosary will be said on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:00 pm at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Rd., Redwood City, CA 94061. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 24 at 10:00 am at St. Pius Church, 1100 Woodside Rd. (cross street Valota Rd.), Redwood City, CA 94061.
