After graduating from U.C. Davis, I founded a small pre-Internet online service in the Davis and Sacramento area. Demand for this service exceeded my expectations, and I continued this endeavor until 1996 when I sold the business. At that time, I moved to Silicon Valley where I worked at a variety of high-tech companies, including two technology start-ups. I came to Saint Ignatius in the summer of 2003, and have enjoyed the particular challenges of advancing the use of technology in education.
