Parent Pledge Program
SI’s policy is to charge full cost tuition. The tuition for one student in any given year covers the actual cost of educating that individual. Unlike many peer schools, we don’t ask parents to use post-tax dollars to pay over and above tuition to cover financial assistance; nor do we ask parents to use tax-deductible donations to cover operational costs. Rather, SI uses a considerable financial aid endowment to cover financial assistance and thereby never turn away a deserving student for financial reasons.
Today’s parents inherit a well-maintained campus and robust programs built and preserved by previous their predecessors. We ask each family to do their share to support SI’s financial assistance and development programs outside of tuition dollars.
Parents are asked to pledge their fair share over four years to support our Genesis V Campaign. SI’s goal is for each family to pledge $8,000 total or $2,000 a year. Payments can be made in one lump sum, annually, or in monthly automatic withdrawals. Please call the Development Office with any questions at 415-731-7500 x 446.
