George Gaspar '07 (Co-President)
Emily Roos '07 (Co-President, Club Representative)

Moderators: Albert Boyle, Tom Casey, Mr. Jamie Pruden, Mr. Dave Buhl
Statement of Purpose:

The SI Tech Club exists for the admiration and promotion of all things related to technology.

Whether through designing websites for clubs or programming robotic cars, assisting students with network accounts or preparing to earn computer certifications, we recognize the importance of utilizing all of the resources given to us—as well as the importance of sharing our talents with those in our community.

Tech Assistance both trains and enlists students as support techs of the school. Through training as well as experience, members learn how to troubleshoot difficult systems and safeguard against possible errors. These guys will know what to do, even facing the most irksome crashes.

Web Design teaches students and teachers alike how to create, build, and maintain websites. Utilizing languages such as (X)HTML and Javascript, members learn how to keep up to date in the fast paced world of coding. Works will receive hosting on siprep itself. Training also covers popular websiting applications.

Planned Activities:

  • Inside a Computer - "Ever wonder what makes a computer tick? Get hands on as we take them apart for examination."
