Social Justice

Statement of Purpose:

To raise awareness of social justice issues and to help those in our community plagued by these issues.

General Activities: Not only do we have meetings in which we discuss social justice issues, but we also have several events in which students can get involved in the community. One of these events is Thursday morning comfort runs, where SI students make and deliver sandwiches to hungry homeless people on the streets of San Francisco. Another is Friday morning breakfasts at Martin de Porre's, a soup kitchen that serves anyone who wants a hot meal.
Meeting Days / Times: Thursdays at 4° in Room 309 and 5° in Room 212
Requirements for Membership: NONE
How to Join: Simply show up at a meeting anytime!!
