                   Japanese Society

The Japanese Society is a club at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory that seeks to introduce Japanese culture to students. Through activities, such as movies, field trips, and cooking of traditional Japanese food, the club cultivates an appreciation for Japan. Past Japanese Society activities have included:

-Mochi pounding demonstration at school

-Viewing of Japanese films (for example, Ringu)

-Attending the annual Cherry Blossom Festival

-And Much More!

The club is open to any student interested in Japan and Japanese culture. The Japanese Society holds meetings after school, once a month. An up-to-date website is available through Sensei Takamatsu's homepage.
