Beginning on Friday March 3rd, the boys entered the Fresno Classic (Central Coast Championships) for the second time in 3 years.  There was a total of 82 teams that entered this year making this one of if not the biggest high school tennis tournament in the nation.

On the first day, despite the wet weather and cold wind conditions, the boys were able to play two of the three matches.  The boys ended up 1-1 which placed them in Division 1 Group 3.  They would have played a third match that day but all play was stopped at 2:00 due to a once in a blue moon tornado warning.  All of the teams were told to move indoors until the warning was cancelled which was at 3:00.

On the second day, the weather was more cooperative.  The boys ended up in a 3 way tie for first place as they went 2-1.  It came down to the total number of matches won and they came up a little short.  Nonetheless, all of the boys played their hearts out, displayed great sportsmanshipfirst and team spirit. Everyone played an integral role in the team's success and experience.
