Meet Results

Herbst Natatorium – The SI Wildcat women's swim team continued there winning ways against longtime rival Sacred Heart Cathedral. As long as there has been swimming between these two schools, SI has always emerged victorious. At the end of this meet, the varsity team (3-1 League, 4-1 Overall) topped SHC 148-34, while the JV team remained undefeated on the year (4-0 League, 5-0 Overall) with easy win over SHC, 152-31.

In a meet with little challenges from SHC, the SI team looked to compete the only other way…versus itself. Case in point: 200 Medley Relay ‘B’ team (Frosh Ruthie Dimagmaliw, Senior Misao Tachibana, Frosh Tessa Peirona, Soph Darice Campbell) finished just ahead of the ‘A’ team. And the line-ups weren’t doctored by the coach.  

Frosh Lyndsie Dellaria emerged from hybernation with season best swims in each event – 2:03.74 200 Free, 55.75 100 Free and 25.97 50 Free.

Frosh Lauren Padilla continues to dazzle this time swimming the 200 IM (within the JV 200 Free) to a personnel beast 2:21.37. Her first CCS cut and the 11 th best swim in SI history.

The Wildcats continue the WCAL regular dual meet season next Thursday, April 14, at home versus Saint Francis. The start time is 3:00pm.
