Nutrition for Athletes Presentation:  Amy Jones, (SI school counselor and assistant girls' swim coach) along with Tony Calvello (SI Strength and Conditioning Coach) have prepared a presentation for athletes, coaches and parents.  Along with the 60 slides with the most current research, statitsics and recommendations, Amy and Tony share their personal experiences as athletes trying to balance the stress of trying to succeed in sports and trying to stay healthy (two goals that sometimes conflict with one another).  Topics covered in the presentation include but are not limited to: eating disorders, food and dieting myths, performance enhancing supplements, energy drinks and food replacement products.
