2007 Magazine Drive

Please save your magazine subscriptions for our school-wide drive in the first few weeks of September. This is the only school-wide fundraiser that we run. The students will receive all the information for the drive at an assembly on August 30th.

This magazine drive benefits every student in the school, so your participation and support is needed and appreciated. The response in the past has been tremendous, and we’re looking forward to another great year. The Ignatian Guild will be coordinating the volunteers in the morning. The volunteers are so vital to this event. Freshmen and transfer mothers will be hearing more about this on August 22nd at the reception in the Commons.

Magazine Drive Turn In Days

Day 1: Thursday, September 6
Day 2: Tuesday, September 11
Day 3: Thursday, September 13
Day 4: Tuesday, September 18

Students turn in subscriptions from 7:20-8:30 in the foyer of the old and new gym.

Magazine Drive Incentives 2007-2008

If the school reaches the goal of 162,000, a holiday will be granted during the year.
If the Senior class reaches the $43,000 goal, the prom will be held off campus. The same goes for the Junior class. If they fail, the prom will be held on campus.
A second period class goal of 7 subscriptions per student is set. If the class attains that goal, the entire class is treated to a free lunch by Togos, including a sandwich, chips and a drink.
On each of the four turn in days, the students have specific incentives.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

The day planners, funding for all of the clubs and activities on campus & contributions to financial aid. Last year we used a portion of the funds to finance a van purchase to upgrade our fleet.
