Parents and students can view Course Status Reports, quarter grades, semester grades, and the grade point average by going to: http://www.siprep.org/reports. Course Status Reports will be posted online Thursday, February 7, 2008, by noon. You will need the ID and PIN that was sent home in a letter at the beginning of the year to access this information. Many teachers post grades on their own web sites, or on Catlink. Both of these can be accessed through the SI Home Page. Please direct comments about grade reporting at St. Ignatius to Ms. Kate Kodros, Assistant Principal for Academics.
Drivers' Education is offered to all students at St. Ignatius. Sessions are six weeks long and are held Monday through Thursday during 4th period lunch. Mr. Bill Olinger is a certified Drivers' Education Instructor, and also coaches boys' and girls' golf. Class will begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, through Thursday, October 9, 2008. SI offers an SAT workshop, designed to prepare students to do their best on the college entrance test. The course focuses on math and verbal review, test taking strategies, and practice tests. Mr. Tim Reardon, SI English teacher and Mr. John DeBenedetti, SI Math teacher and head basketball coach, have taught the SAT Workshop for over ten years. Classes are held twice a week after school for four weeks. The SAT workshop for the November 1 SAT begins on Tuesday, September 3o.
